Government Contracts Expertise From Procurement Through Performance
Eagle Law advises companies at every stage of the government contracting lifecycle, from initial market entry and proposal preparation through contract performance, compliance, and dispute resolution. Drawing on experience in large law firms and in uniform, our attorneys understand both the legal framework and the operational realities of partnering with federal, state, and local agencies. We help clients navigate the complex regulations, compliance obligations, and oversight mechanisms that govern how the public sector acquires goods and services.
Opportunities for Securing Government Contracts
Government entities at all levels rely on the private sector for the tools, technologies, equipment, and services needed to perform public missions effectively. We work with clients to identify, pursue, and execute contracts with federal, state, and local agencies, with a focus on aligning commercial business models to the unique demands of public procurement.
Government contracts commonly involve the large-scale delivery of goods and services—including manufactured products, highly regulated technologies, and sophisticated professional services. These arrangements may cover equipment, weapons systems, defense platforms, and IT products; medical equipment and pharmaceuticals; software development and licensing; cybersecurity solutions; logistics and facilities services; construction and maintenance; research and development in areas such as medical innovation and renewable energy; and a wide range of technical, advisory, and professional support. Because these contracts are often substantial in value and subject to intense scrutiny, experienced legal counsel is critical to developing competitive bids, managing risk allocation, and maintaining compliance over the life of the engagement.
Aerospace, Defense, and National Security Contracting
A significant portion of the firm’s government contracts practice is devoted to aerospace, defense, and national security work. Public agencies increasingly turn to private industry to provide advanced capabilities that support military operations, space activities, and critical infrastructure. We assist entities across the aerospace and defense ecosystem, including aircraft manufacturers; spacecraft and satellite companies; drone and autonomous systems developers; weapons and defense systems manufacturers; cybersecurity and software firms; research and development organizations; component and subsystem suppliers; aircraft maintenance and repair providers; and ground systems, command-and-control, and logistics contractors.
As a veteran-owned law firm, Eagle Law brings a practical understanding of defense missions and procurement culture to each engagement. We help clients position themselves as reliable industry partners to defense and civilian agencies, with particular attention to national security sensitivities, export controls, and the unique reputational and operational risks associated with public sector work.

Technical and Business Assistance (TABA)
Technical and Business Assistance (TABA) is a federal funding mechanism that allows certain small businesses—primarily SBIR and STTR awardees—to use additional, dedicated funds to pay qualified third parties for specialized support, including legal services directly tied to their government-funded projects. Eagle Law is authorized by the U.S. Government to accept TABA funding from agencies that are themselves authorized to provide it, which means that in eligible programs clients may be able to use TABA funds to cover some or all of our legal fees for services such as structuring teaming and subcontracting arrangements, advising on data rights and intellectual property, corporate management, navigating FAR and DFARS compliance, and developing commercialization and go-to-market strategies for dual-use technologies.
