Michael is a business attorney focused on delivering efficient and effective results to his clients. His experience includes both litigation and transactional representation for companies and governmental entities in aerospace, defense, securities, real estate, and general business matters. He is also a mentor for Starburst, Techstars Space LA, and Mach 37.
Before founding Eagle Law, Michael worked at Davidovich Stein Law Group LLP and Lewis & Llewellyn LLP, representing clients in trade secret protection, breach of contract, unfair business practices, employment disputes, securities litigation, and real estate disputes. Previously, he was an associate at Loeb & Loeb LLP, representing corporations and high-net-worth clients in aerospace, bankruptcy, securities, environmental, and entertainment cases. Michael has experience handling high-stakes legal matters for Fortune 100 companies and government entities.
An alumnus of the United States Air Force Academy with a Legal Studies major and Computer Science minor, Michael earned his MBA from Trident University International, graduating summa cum laude while serving in the armed forces. He received his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law, specializing in business law and serving on the Dean’s Student Advisory Council, as President of the Veterans Law Society, and as an Executive Board Member of the Jewish Law Students Association. During law school, Michael externed for Honorable Ronald S.W. Lew in the Central District of California, at NuMedia Studios, and at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Enforcement Division and Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations.
A former F-15 fighter pilot with over 1,500 flight hours, including combat time in Operation Enduring Freedom, Michael served as an instructor pilot in the U.S. Air Force before joining the Air Force Reserve with the 701st Combat Operations Squadron in California. He holds a Certified Flight Instructor and Air Transport Pilot rating with the FAA and dedicates pro bono efforts to helping veterans with compensation claims and startup guidance.
Michael is married to Jennifer, with whom he has a son. In his spare time, he enjoys flying, sports, concerts, hiking, movies, writing on aerospace and defense law, and family time.
